Brewbound is a puzzle game you can play in a web browser or as an Android app. We built it to collect as little as possible.
What stays on your device
Your progress, coins, shop upgrades, settings and brewer name are saved only on your own device (browser storage, or the app’s private storage). On Android, the app’s data can be included in your own Google device backup so it survives a new phone.
Accounts, ads and tracking
There are no accounts. The game shows no ads and contains no analytics or tracking code. If that changes, this page will be updated first.
Playing with friends
- Challenge links contain your brewer name, your number of pours and your time, so your friend can see the score to beat. Anyone you send the link to can read them.
- Live races and co-op send your brewer name, your moves and any emotes through a realtime relay server so your friend’s device receives them. These messages are not stored by the game, but they pass through a third-party relay service and are not end-to-end encrypted. Please don’t use your full name or other personal details as your brewer name.
Children
Brewbound has no chat (only preset emotes) and asks for no personal information.
Your choices
Clearing the app’s storage or your browser’s site data deletes everything the game saved. You can change your brewer name at any time from the Friends menu.
